Initially rolled out exclusively in Japan through the legendary Yoshida boutique, this Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar is a limited edition of 300 copies. It has a self-winding mechanism with a perpetual calendar function encased in a 41mm titanium. Its distinct salmon dial with the signature “Grande tapisserie” pattern brings a refined dimension that sets it apart from your typical Royal Oaks.
Established in 1875 by partners Jules-Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet, Audemars Piguet is one of the last remaining watchmaking maisons operating under the original founders. The brand has created several technical innovations throughout their existence including the first minute-repeater wristwatch in 1892 and the first skeletonized pocketwatch in 1934. In 1972, Audemars Piguet introduced the Royal Oak designed by Gérald Genta, which was the most expensive stainless-steel luxury sports watch at the time. Since then, the brand has released other iconic models such as the record-breaking Royal Oak Self-Winding Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin, the world’s thinnest automatic perpetual calendar wristwatch.
