Considered as the second iteration of the “Barrichello” Challenge Project, this timepiece is set in a full rose gold case with gold and black sub-registers that has been customized with a hand-painted “Tachymetre” ceramic bezel in red and white highlights to provide a sportier appeal to its wearer.
Founded in 2005, Artisans de Genève are considered by many to be the pinnacle of bespoke watch making. Based in Geneva, Artisans de Genève have done high-end modifications on several luxury brands such as Rolex and Patek Philippe, and have introduced a variety of special unique pieces based on iconic vintage watches including the Tribute Challenge based on a Rolex Daytona Ref. 6240, and various iterations of the Rolex Daytona Ref. 116520. The workshop has since produced a series of special watch collaborations with important personalities from the world of sports, music and film including the likes of Juan Pablo Montoya, Lenny Kravitz and Spike Lee among others.
