The Santos de Cartier is one of the most iconic watches from Cartier, dating back to 1904. It was built for the Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, who wore it on his pioneering flights. This makes it one of the first tool wristwatches (and likely the first aviation watch) ever produced. This particular execution is configured with a silvered opaline dial featuring the brand’s classic Roman numerals with a date window at 6 o’clock.
