Established in 1904 in the town of Hölstein by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian, the brand transformed a once shuttered watch factory into one of the leading global watch manufacturers. In 1918, the brand introduced its seminal watch, Big Crown, a pilot’s watch named by its large crown that helped aviators easily adjust their timepiece while in the sky. Today, the brand remains to be an independent watch brand that shifted its focus on the production of high-quality chronometers in motor racing to timepieces serving the brand’s concerted effort in preserving the environment and the world’s oceans.
