Grand Seiko
Grand Seiko is one of the few watch manufacturers who not only make every single part of their watches in house, but also have full control of the entire watchmaking process – from research and development of materials to assembly and shipment. One of its most iconic offerings, the Hi-Beat 36000 GMT, was awarded the prestigious “Petite Aiguille” watch prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève Awards in 2014, proving that Japan can produce some of the best watches in the world, alongside Germany and Switzerland.
