Girard-Perregaux
With its origins dating back to 1791, Girard-Perregaux has established itself as a leading innovator in the watch industry, with over 80 patents in watchmaking, including the first mechanical movement at high frequency running at 36,000 vibrations per hour with the Gyromatic HF, and their first quartz wristwatch vibrating at 32,768 hertz, which would go on to become the industry standard. Other notable timepieces include the Three Bridge Tourbillon, the 1966, the Vintage 1945, and the Laureato from 1975.
