The RM88 took 3 years to develop and has successfully overcome technical and aesthetic challenges. Encased in ATZ white ceramic and red gold, it features two base plates to support the CRMT7 in-house calibre–a skeletonized automatic tourbillon movement and an auxiliary to secure the ornamentation on the left-hand side of the dial.
Established in 1999 by watch designer Richard Mille and his partner, Dominique Guenat, Richard Mille revolutionized the watch industry with their highly technical and futuristic designed wristwatches. In 2001, the brand presented its first watch, the RM001 Tourbillion, a manual-wound tourbillon with a ribbed tonneau-shaped case that revealed its internal mechanism, which became the face of the brand’s identity.
